The tables
This is the whole argument. A weekend table at a top Vegas room starts around $3,000 before tax and tip and climbs fast on a big DJ night — then the bottles are $600–900 each. The equivalent VIP booth in Bangkok carries a minimum of roughly $600–1,000, and what you drink against it costs a fraction. Same production, same girls, same 4am. A crew of eight spends on one Vegas night what covers the whole Bangkok weekend.
The hotel
A good Strip room on a weekend is $300–500 a night plus the resort fee nobody warned the groom about. In Bangkok the same money gets you a suite with a rooftop pool, and a genuinely good five-star room is $120–250. This is the city where you upgrade.
The flights
Vegas wins. From the US it's a domestic hop; from the UK and Australia it's a long haul either way. Bangkok from London is 11–12 hours direct, from Sydney nine, from the US West Coast a full day. Budget for it and land a day early — the first night's the easy one anyway.
The days
Vegas has the pool, and in summer the pool is the day. Bangkok has a private yacht two hours out of the city for $2,599 for eight of you, ringside Muay Thai, a shooting range, go-karts, and a spa afternoon that costs what a Vegas breakfast does. Different kind of day. Better, if we're honest.
The nights
Not close. Vegas is three rooms and a line. Bangkok is a city that's built for it — rooftops at sunset, a scene dinner, a first room, the big room, and something after, with a driver moving the crew between them. And the crowd's international in a way Vegas hasn't been for years.
Where Vegas still wins
- Convenience for a US crew. Land, walk to the room, done.
- Sports. If the trip needs a game, Vegas has the stadiums.
- The pool party as a format. Bangkok has the boat instead.
- Familiarity. Everyone's been. Nobody has to explain it to the groom's mum.
Where Bangkok runs away with it
- Price on every line that isn't the flight.
- The room. The suite, the pool, the view — at a third of the cost.
- Range. Rooftops, a yacht, the fights, the food, the rooms — a trip with a shape to it, not one big night repeated.
- Nobody's done it. Every guy in the chat has a Vegas story. Nobody has this one.

The hosted version of the Bangkok trip — tables paid, girl, driver, events, transfers, one WhatsApp thread — is $325–1,125 a guy depending on club nights. Full breakdown here.
Same standard as the Strip, in a city where the money goes three times as far. Tables, driver, girl, events — booked before you land.

Is Bangkok or Las Vegas better for a bachelor party?
For the nights and the price, Bangkok — tables and hotels are roughly a third of Vegas and the city has more range. Vegas wins on flights for a US crew and on familiarity.
How much cheaper is Bangkok than Vegas for a bachelor party?
Tables and hotels run about a third of Vegas prices. A weekend VIP booth minimum is roughly $600–1,000 in Bangkok versus $3,000-plus in Vegas before tax and tip. Flights are the one line where Vegas is cheaper.
How long is the flight to Bangkok?
About 11–12 hours direct from London, nine from Sydney, and a full day from the US West Coast with one stop. Land a day early; the first night is the easy one.
Is Bangkok safe for a bachelor party?
With routing, yes — it's one of the friendliest big cities in the world. Our crews have a driver, a girl from our team at the table and a host thread, which removes most of the classic tourist mistakes before they happen.
