How to rooftop with a crew
Two rules. First: rooftops are the START of a night, not the night — golden hour drinks, photos that make the group chat go quiet, then down to dinner and the clubs. Second: groups of six-plus get turned away or split up without a reservation, and every real rooftop enforces a dress code — long trousers and closed shoes, no tanks, no flip-flops. We book crews in as part of the route so none of this is your problem.
The classics
Sky Bar at Lebua — the Hangover Part II rooftop, 63 floors up on the river side. Touristy? Sure. Worth doing once? Absolutely. Vertigo at Banyan Tree — open-air 61st-floor deck, one of the most dramatic settings in the city and a proper first-impression venue for a crew's opening night.
The scene rooftops
Octave (Marriott Thonglor) — three stacked levels with a 360° top deck, the reliable all-rounder we send more crews to than any other. Tichuca (Thonglor) — the jungle-tower room that went viral for a reason; expect a queue without a booking. Above Eleven (Soi 11) — Peruvian-Japanese kitchen plus a party that gets going later, and the natural rooftop when your night is running the Soi 11 side of town.
The move
Tell us your dates and which night you want sky-high, and we'll slot the right rooftop into your route — reserved, dress code briefed, timed for sunset, with the club table already waiting downtown afterwards.
Tell us your dates — we'll tell you what the city looks like that week and hold the table before you land.

Do Bangkok rooftop bars have dress codes?
Yes — virtually all of them: long trousers, closed shoes, no sleeveless shirts. It's the #1 reason groups get turned away. Pack one sharp outfit minimum.
Which Bangkok rooftop is best for a group?
For groups we rate Octave and Above Eleven for actual energy, Vertigo and Sky Bar for the once-in-a-trip view. The right answer depends on where the rest of your night is — that's the routing we do.
Do we need reservations?
For 6+ people, always. Walk-up groups get split, queued or bounced at peak hour. Reservations are included in every package we run.
What time should we go?
Arrive 5:30–6PM for golden hour and the photos, stay through sunset, move on by 8:30 — that's the pro schedule.
